God opened the door for Michael Schulze, president of Health Restored Ministries International, to travel to St. Louis, Missouri, and attend part of the General Conference (GC) Session of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. This worldwide gathering, held every five years, brings together delegates from around the globe to transact church business, elect officers, and consider policy matters that help guide the direction of the church.

Although Michael was not attending as a delegate, he went prayerfully—asking God for divine appointments as he knew he would be rubbing shoulders with tens of thousands of people in the vast exhibition hall where ministries and supporting organizations from around the world had set up booths.

Optimism was high among the HRMI board even before Michael left for St. Louis. Less than a month earlier, the asking price for the Feather Mountain property had been reduced by $300,000—something the board saw as another indication that God might be opening the door to this location.

Then, an amazing development occurred just the night before Michael was scheduled to depart from the Palm Springs airport. He received a text message from someone who had been invited to view the property back in May, encouraging him to check on Feather Mountain again. When Michael looked it up, he was stunned—the price had just been reduced by an additional $500,000. Overwhelmed by this unexpected news, Michael could hardly believe what he was seeing.

Early Wednesday morning, July 9, as Michael waited at the airport, he began texting as many people as he could to share this remarkable testimony. It felt as though things were moving decisively in the right direction—an incredible story of God’s timing that he was eager to share with those he would meet.

Wearing an HRMI advertising T-shirt, Michael was prepared to share that Health Restored Ministries International is planning to open a lifestyle center in the state of Arizona, trusting that God would lead him to the right conversations.

Over the next four days, Michael connected with many wonderful individuals at the GC Session. He shared the testimony of Feather Mountain, and several people stopped to pray with him on the spot, asking the Lord to provide the necessary funding and guidance. As he walked through the crowds, Michael experienced multiple divine appointments and had meaningful interactions with individuals connected to well-known ministries, including 3ABN and It Is Written.

Throughout his time in St. Louis, Michael remained closely connected with the HRMI team, faithfully joining the ministry’s nightly prayer calls, along with several impromptu prayer moments during the day. The spirit of unity and dependence on God was evident every step of the way.

On the final evening of the conference, God again opened an unexpected door. Michael was given the opportunity to be interviewed by Pastor John Lomacang of 3ABN during a livestream podcast featuring various ministries. The interview was broadcast live and later shared on 3ABN’s YouTube channel—an opportunity Michael had not anticipated but gratefully accepted.

While Michael did not connect with anyone at the session who immediately expressed interest in financially supporting HRMI, this did not discourage him—or the ministry. Instead, it strengthened their resolve to move forward in faith, trusting that God is directing each step in His perfect timing.

The journey to St. Louis served as a powerful reminder that God is at work—opening doors, arranging divine appointments, and calling His people to trust Him completely as He leads this ministry forward.
